Grass Shack Trading offers the following Returns Policy. You may return any item for exchange or refund within 14 days of receipt. To receive a full refund, the item must be in new condition, in the original packaging with all original tags, etc. We are sorry, but damaged items from improper wear or use cannot be refunded. Factory defects are certainly covered.
Please note that discoloration of sterling silver due to exposure to corrosive environments or chemicals, including, but not limited to carbon monoxide, is not a defect, but a result of improper use. If you work on cars or with any chemicals, please remove your silver jewelry.
Sterling Silver Care Tips: Sterling Silver will oxidize (turn darker) over time, due to exposure to air. Must of our silver is anti-tarnish treated. However, Anti-Tarnish only means it will take a little longer to oxidize. To delay this process, store your jewelry away from open doors and windows in a zip lock type bag and keep it in a jewelry box or drawer away from a humid environment. But, the longer you have it, the larger the chance that you will have to do some maintenance polishing. Most pieces will respond nicely to a quick rub with a treated silver polishing cloth, available on our web site. For more complicated pieces (those with lots of nooks and crannies) a liquid silver polishing dip may be in order, available at most large discount stores.
Sterling Silver will also oxidize in repeated exposure to water  shower, pool, and salt water. Chemicals & minerals in the water will react with the silver and turn it dark more quickly. Please consider removing your jewelry before swimming or bathing.
Caution. Do not dip silver items with purposely oxidized areas (items with darker areas to bring out the detail of the piece). Dipping these items may dissolve the detailing. It's also not a good idea to dip jewelry with stones unless you are sure they won't be damaged. If in doubt, ask a professional.
